Ramat recently turned forty, she celebrated her birthday party with friends and family. Before the main party celebration we stopped by their “home” to take some party pictures. I must say her family is truly blessed and fortunate to have one another. Fola and I were really blessed to photograph her celebration, we had so much fun at the event and we pray she and her family enjoy many more years of love, happiness and peace.
In June, Fola and I headed over to Lake Elkhorn Pavilion to photograph Mope and Sam’s engagement session, it was truly a beautiful session. Afterwards we hung with them for some incredible lunch at the ever busy Columbia Mall. Enjoy the sneak peek, will be posting the pictures soonest.
Last weekend Folashade and I had a splendid time shooting an engagement session of an awesome couple over at Old Town Alexandria. It is known that Where you find true friendship, You find true love, I can honestly say this couple reflects a frienship which can only be bound by love, i had a lot of fun shooting this couple will be posting more pictures soon.
Recently Folashade and I had the awesome pleasure of capturing David and Boomie’s special day. The love radiating from Boomie and David, filled the air like a sweet-smelling fragrance, intoxicating the hearts of everyone present. I once read that “JOY is the most infallible sign of the presence of God”,in the midst of all the celebration, God was surely present.
I pray Boomie and David have a peaceful, fruitful and joy-filled married life. Congratulations once again.

Two weekends ago Folashade and i had the awesome pleasure to capture Bunmi and David wedding Thanksgiving at Temple of Praise, the actual wedding took place in Nigeria last year, and for me to try to explain the love, friendship, plus how Boomie and David met, will not do anyone justice luckily for me Punam has done a great job on telling a great story about the couple so you have to read and see for yourself at Engagement and wedding , i was going to copy and paste from Punam’s blog about the couple, but she tells the story much beter with Great picture to match, i personaly think thier story needs to be heard for all the aspiring story tellers, thiers is a story waiting to be written, i have lots of pictures to share from thier thanksgiving ceremony, Folashade and i captured the whole day on almost 30Gig CF cards shooting raw, here is one of my favorites.
Last week Folashade and I had the grace to shoot Little Mikel’s first birthday. Personally I think first birthdays deserve more recognition, I remember seeing a friend’s birthday pictures from 20something years ago and I laughed for he looked so hilarious in his costume and all the other funny things. In the next 20 years when Mikel sees these pictures I hope he will still love them every bit like we do now, Mikel I pray you grow strong and healthy in God’s wisdom and will.
